As our nation approaches the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, we pause to give thanks to God for His providential care throughout our country’s history.

In a world that often measures value by utility, independence, or productivity, the gospel calls us to a radically different vision: every life, from conception to natural death, is precious in the sight of God.

Pentecost marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples. What had been promised by our Lord Jesus—“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you”—was gloriously fulfilled.

Christ is risen! The grave could not hold Him. Death has been defeated. The resurrection of Jesus is not only a historical event—it is the living foundation of our hope. And Hope does not disappoint.
